Nobilis Health’s New Full In-house Marketing Department

In 2014, Nobilis had a lot of big things happening, from a merger to applying for a listing on the New York Stock Exchange. Another exciting thing occurred this year as Nobilis brought all advertising and marketing in-house. Previously, the company outsourced all efforts to a Dallas ad agency. Our in-house team has grown from a Director of Marketing in 2013 to a full team in 2014, including:

Since launching a full in-house agency in 2Q’14, the marketing team has planned, purchased, managed, and optimized four successful campaigns (NueStep, CuraSpine, Bariatric and Pain Management) in three markets (Houston, Dallas, and Scottsdale, AZ) for two quarters: 3Q’14 and 4Q’14.  With the success of these four multi-market campaigns, the team is expecting continued growth in 2015, from new markets to onboarding more talent.  In an effort to prepare for the growth, the marketing team has been educating and encouraging young ad students and professionals. This year, the marketing department served, volunteered, and sponsored the local American Marketing Association chapter and both the local and national Ad 2 organization, which focuses on young professionals in advertising. Last month, the marketing team even competed in a Gumbo Cook-off to support Ad 2 Houston and their 2014 non-profit client, Lone Star Veterans. At the cook-off, Nobilis won 1st Place for best gumbo, a surprise for some, but not to the team who knew their talents go beyond marketing.

The team’s latest efforts included an education seminar at our headquarters. On Thursday, November 6, 2014, the Marketing Coordinator, Digital Marketing Specialist, and Media Planner/Buyer hosted fifteen young professionals from Ad 2 Houston. During this seminar, they taught attendees more about traditional and digital media. The goal of this event was to introduce the next generation to our company, our team, and our campaigns. Hopefully in 2015, we will be able to update you on the growth of the marketing department, which is reflective of the growth in our company.
